Dear Participants,

As we’re sure you’re already aware, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic variant OMICRON has led to a need for social distancing to help prevent the spread. For this reason, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the IASA-2022 Conference which was scheduled in January 2022 at the Department of English, University of Madras, Chennai until further notice. While we know this is disappointing, we hope you understand this is a necessary step to help keep each other safe in these unprecedented times.

We’ll update you with the new dates  as soon as they’re confirmed. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with Dr. Supala Pandiarahjan (<>) or Pradeep Trikha (
